A lifelong entrepreneur, Anne has been immersed in business and marketing endeavors her entire career. She excels at looking to the future which is why she is now concentrating on digital ad placements across all mediums. Although traditional media is still important, she wants to be where her clients want, and need, to be: in the digital space, and has become an expert in the subject.
Anne launched Anne Flinn Advertising in 2020 as the pandemic simultaneously forced shut downs of her Cayman Islands business, and radio sales in Charlottesville. The future was clear: time to launch her own agency!

Late 80's Early 90's Business and Entrepreneur History As a divemaster in the Cayman Islands right out of college, Anne was a pioneer in the underwater video business in the late '80's and videotaped families on their scuba trips. She was featured on the cover of Skin Diver Magazine with her video equipment. She then went on to create, "Video Fish Book" where she spent over a month filming the common fish of the Caribbean, and cataloged and edited the footage into a 60 minute encyclopedia of fish that she called, "Video Fish Book." This was sold across dive shops and aquariums in the Cayman Islands and the USA. It was narrated by Sir David Attenborough.
1999 - 2020 Business and Entrepreneur History Anne is a self-taught photographer and cataloged years of images while living on the island. In 1999 she created a postcard and photo-souvenir line and went on to sell over a million postcards, distributed to over 25 hotels & stores. She grew her line to include: playing cards, books, reusable shopping bags, mousepads, magnets and car stickers. She sourced products domestically and internationally, and attended industry trade shows on a regular basis. This business ran from late 1999 until the pandemic shut the island down in 2020. She managed this from Charlottesville, VA.
2019-2020 Business and Entrepreneur History Anne's final product development was in 2019/2020 with the launch of reusable shopping bags made from recycled plastic bottles (RPET). Unfortunately, a combination of the 2019 trade war and 2020 pandemic shutdowns brought this exciting product to a halt. It's one of Anne's favorite product developments and was a joy to create for clients!
How it started... Video Editor, Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, PR division. We called ourselves the "Soon Come" Remote team. That's an island expression for "we'll get there when we get there."
