Every time we get online, either on our phones or on our desktops we are tracked. That might sound "creepy" but it's also marketing gold and the way businesses can get closer and closer to their target customer every day.
Mobile phones develop their own "bucket" of information every time they are turned on. Information is gathered not only from online behavior (like, what websites we visit) but by offline behavior, like, where we go, say, to a big box store, a fast food restaurant, or a sporting event. Every phone is then put into a "bucket" such as: this person on this phone "likes to garden", "likes sports", is an "outdoor enthusiast", etc. On desktops, the buckets are similar, but different, and they're based on the websites they visit and the links that are clicked in articles and apps.
Here's a look at a few "behavioral categories" your customer might fit into. There are thousands of categories for EVERY industry! With experience advertising for thousands of companies in a variety of industries, our tech gurus will know exactly what behavioral characteristics are working best in every industry across the country, and will help advise you.
