Over $130,000 in grants were awarded in Year 1 to local Charlottesville nonprofit organizations.

The Cav Futures Foundation, in partnership with the Weinberg Family Foundation, are pleased to announce the Champions of the Community Program, which provides grant-funding directly to selected Charlottesville-area nonprofit organizations. This grant program connects UVA student athletes with local nonprofits to support and deepen the work of those organizations serve the Charlottesville community.

Champions of the Community, resulted in the selection of 13 local non-profit organizations to receive funding for their impactful initiatives in the Charlottesville community.
